Subject: Very tragic news for our msg. board - One of our members has passed away

Has anyone noticed that's it's been quite a while since the last time we heard from Capt John? The last time Capt John was active here was early or mid-December 2023. I e-mailed him a couple months ago to ask him if he's still OK out there, but haven't received any response whatsoever. So he's likely passed away, I hate to say. Or maybe he's been hospitalized indefinitely, but I certainly wouldn't count on ever hearing from him again. Very tragic loss here. RIP, Capt John.
