Subject: A rather bizarre personal experience involving "Raquel Welch"

2 or 3 decades ago, in my local newspaper I saw an ad for a strip joint or strip club that said it's special guest that night (or maybe a few consecutive nights) was "Raquel Welch". Really?! So I called them to inquire about her appearance there, but the man who answered just laughed and said she wasn't the legendary sex symbol Raquel Welch (the one who tragically passed away in Feb. 2023 at the age of just 82), but rather another woman named "Raquel Welch" - a much less-famous one who was either some type of stripper or exotic dancer or maybe even a porn star or something like that (a sex worker)! I was quite disappointed not being able to get to meet the real Raquel Welch, but anyway I thanked them for informing me when I called them up.

But wait a minute........Doesn't that violate some type of rule in the entertainment industry that no 2 different performers or entertainers can have or use the exact same name?! I just searched the 'Net to try to find this supposedly much less-famous Raquel, but it's apparently impossible to do without getting the real, legendary Raquel. Anyone possibly know anything about this other Raquel, and how/where we could get to see her belly button? Thanks for any responses.

Come to think of it, that newspaper ad must have been some type of hoax or false publicity stunt or something, because it seems that the other Raquel Welch never actually existed.

I looked and was unable to find any information about another Raquel Welch. It could be that the rules caught up to her back then and she stopped using that name. Can you imagine the outrage when everyone showed up to see Raquel and were given an imposter?
