I don't think there is a Mom here that has allowance for backtalk. Some may let it go on longer than others, but you know I am much like yourself in that my patience is very short on disrespect and talking back. They get one, or two warnings at the most. That was a well deserved spanking for Bobby.

I don't know what it is with boys and wanting to get/keep clean. I never had that issue with my girls, but with my son, some of his friends, both of my nephews as well as boys I have babysat it was like pulling teeth sometimes in getting them clean. If the dirt wasn't obvious, they didn't need to be cleaned. Nevermind the caked on sweat.

Even when trying to get them to start bathing themselves, in the beginning, they always tried to do as little as possible, deliberately forgetting to wash (only wetting themselves). That would cause 'Mommy' to give the bath and then follow with a spanking afterwards.

So good for Bobby to go a couple of months without a spanking. Hopefully he will continue to go that long between spankings.
