Alyson,

This all depends, if I spank them in their bedroom then that is where they will sometimes stay. my daughter (13) will stay in her room for a short time then come down to be around me and is helpful and talkative. If I spank her in the living room and her dad is home or her brothers down stair she after some hugs will go to her room for a while, my boys (8 and 10) will cuddle then want to be with me wanting to be my shadow and talk.

My daughter will redress herself right away, the 10 year old will once he realizes he is bare will dress as well, our 8 year old will stay bare from the waist down as long as he can.

They don't over cry but can cry as long as they need. But won't over do it, if they need a longer cry they go to their room.
