Hi all:

With my 2 who are now grown up, I just gave hand spankings until they turned 8. At 8 I introduced a wood spoon although for an ordinary spanking the majority of the spanking was still hand with a flurry of spanks with the spoon to their lower bottom, sit spots and thighs at the end of the spanking. I used to kind of take my time with the handspanking and build a fire gradually so to speak, then with the spoon I'd give hard rapid fire spanks to the same area then move on to another area.

If a more serious spanking was needed they'd get more time with the implement at the end.

At 10 I ditched the spoon and substituted a hairbrush.

Then at 13 and beyond a short strapping was an option that could be added to the spanking for serious things. It is a nasty implement so I never gave that many spanks with it but more often than not it kept the kids from lying and I think my 2 both chose honesty and confession almost always to be sure they'd avoid it.

I have 4 grandkids total, my daughter has 2- Jeff and Lianne who I've posted about. My son has 2 as well- a 5 yo girl named Beth and a 2 year old boy named Tim. Unfortunately, I don't see much of my son or his kids as they live far away, but the 3 that are of spanking age are just getting hand spankings for now.
