I think your stance is a sensible one. Not an upgrade your daughter wants, but a necessary one.

Mine were maybe 8 or 9 before I first slippered them. Not that they were short-changed on hand spankings before that. It was more a decision based on their size and attitude, than on age.

That paddle of yours will need a service soon after 2yrs of high mileage and wear!

Irene's hairbrush came in to play once they started attending senior school. As my second eldest son referred to it 'time for big boy spankings' lol. Though whereas he might not have been so big, some of his spankings from his Mum certainly were!
