Hello, this is amazingly wonderful. I also had a daughter and 2 boys, Brianna is 20, Sammy is 16 and Stevie 12. I am married and the lone spanker as well.

As for bedtime spankings, Brianna had her difficulties with bedtimes when she was young but in her teens her big problem was being later home missing her curfew a few times.

My boys though excel at needing bedtime spankings, I find it comical when Sammy complains he is too old for bedtimes and
that his are too early, then he will at time have a fit/tantrum and of course bo spanked.

They are bared from the waist down, shoes and socks off first then whatever they happen to be wearing below the waist.

"Why bare" this is also the age old question asked by children everywhere, including mine “why bare”, “can you please not spank me on my bare bottom?” Asking me, pleading, discussing it with the parent is fine, but if it turns into an argument they will be told to stop, if it continues then were/will be spanked. They are told they will always be spanked bare, it is up to them to behave to not need me to spank them.

I spank sitting on the couch with my hand and wood spatula, with my knees about 6 inches apart with their upper body on the couch as well. Nothing is said, I bare them, take hold of them and take them across and down over my thighs, then the adjusting of their body. Over my lap was the natural thing to do, it was how our mom spanked, bare bottom over her lap as she sat on the couch. I have their body and bottom under control and I can spank as long and thorough as I need to.
