 My boys are 8 and 11, there is absolutely no way I am going to even try grounding them or use time out, time outs are not a punishment. As some others have said I spank because they work, they are now they know what they are being spanked for and why, then its over, we cuddle they have a very good cry that they need and then they have a red sore bottom for a while to remind them.
