Thank you for your kind words and support, as always. I have cherished our friendship just as much and have learned just as much from yourself. :)

I remember you telling me about the consistent, frequent spankings you needed to give your boys, as well as with Zach, Tommy and Mason, when they were 17. I know a lot of parents hope that spankings should be thing of the past at that age. Especially if their children are younger and they are looking ahead. "Oh, when my child is 17, I will find better means by that point. They will be too old for spankings."

I can respect their opinion, but really, if it continues to remain effective, then how can they become 'too old?' I can tell you that spankings are just as effective with Andy and Derek as when I began spanking them at 8 and 9 yrs old. And I will continue to spank them for as long as their behavior requires it (and I have permission). And I can tell you right now, they both still need consistent, good, sound spankings over my lap. Ironically, even though I spanked Andy most recently, I've actually had to spank Derek more often than Andy of late.

Mary, I know your thoughts are likely along the same lines with your boys, as well as with their friends. At least with Tommy and Mason since you haven't spanked Zach in quite awhile.

Mary, please get back to me when you are able. There is no rush. :)
