The children and their parents that come with us, many are like family, or at least close friends of the family. So we are always happy to have them.

Yes, along with running in the house, roughhousing has always meant a spanking here, as well. They do get 1-2 warnings to stop, but if they still don't listen, then a spanking will happen. I always let them know if they want to run or wrestle/jump around, then do so outside.

Breaking safety rules, ones the children know well, has always caused immediate spankings in mine our my girls' homes, and serious ones while at it. You can't give extra leeway in regards to something like that.
