After reading your descriptions I wonder if you re-dress them after a spanking or after corner time if you finish the punishments as I do, with some time facing the wall. I do it myself although since a few years ago, they protest, because they consider it is a childish practice, but I think it reinforces the mother control message. More than once I’ve to give them a pair of good slaps in their thighs while ordering to stay still, put their hands on my shoulders and not interfering if don't want to get back to my lap. So, I get them standing in front of me while I'm seated in the same place I used for spank them, and proceed to put on panties/undergoes well fitted an yanked up, and then pants or whatever they wear before spanking. Frequently, they wince in pain when clothes passes over their reddened bottom area and I say: it hurts right? Remember not to do that again (punctuating with a few light slaps). After that, I hugg them for nearly a minute.
