Margaret,

It is so good to hear from you. I hope you and the family are doing well.

Just to clarify, I didn't administer all of the spankings over the vacation. Only the 4 that I shared in my post. During our family vacations with my own children, having to spank at least a few times over 7-10 days was about normal. The children can get in their heads that because we are on vacation that the same rules don't apply, or are at least lessened, so sometimes they go too far and need to be reminded that isn't the case.

It sounds like Theo and Sean are keeping your lap quite busy. How old are the boys now? With Andy and Derek, I probably spank them about once every month to month and a half.

They of course they try to let know how they are "too old!" and keep asking "when will you stop spanking me?!"

But as I told Teresa, I've made it clear to the boys that spankings will continue to remain an option for them as long as their behavior requires it. Whether they are 17, 18 or even older.
