They think because they are teens now that we should not be telling them when to go to bed, but they do need bedtimes, they cannot police themselves and we need to enforce them and any other bedtime spankable behavior. Good for you, now I have a spanking itch. :)

Here, bedtimes are written in stone as well. Bedtimes can be a struggle getting Matthew to bed or having him stay in bed and get to sleep. Just last month I had to spank Matt for this and he argued ("but there is no school"). He wanted to stay up later, complaining his bedtimes are too early. Well he was spanked and then went to bed with his red sore bottom facing up and yes I did check it as well the following morning.

Now that he is back in school this is when we have our most spanking for arguing about bedtimes.
