My bedroom is also off limits if I am not in there, if I am they can come in and if my door is closed they knock. Unless I send one of the boys up to get my brush as I start to bare the boy I will be spanking.

Wow, stealing. I have not had to deal with stealing. I see Irene also has that good "Mom sense" we can tell, we know when something is up. Good for her for spanking the boy right there in the kitchen.

As for my boys looking at my brush, they have when I have it downstairs but as far as I know they have not handled it. When they see me coming to spank them and I am carrying it they focus their eyes on it with that wide eyed look.

Here is a cute fun story concerning a brush. Some years ago I think Donny and Scott were 12 or 13 and Bobby was 10 or 11, we were in Bed Bath and Beyond and I came across a cosplay of bath brushes. I picked one up and started swinging it in a spanking motion, Donny said “mom everyone is looking” Donny and Scott were blushing but I only saw a couple looking. I think the boys were relieved when I put it down and went on shopping, lol.
