Boxers can be tight-fitting just as briefs are - my own preference. Any underpants that sheath the bottom are better than loose shorts style one, well, in ,y opini0on anyway.

I am amused that your teen sons felt comfortable enough to go around the house in just brief and a t-shirt when Mom is around - especially given your proclivity to slapping their bottoms! Then again maybe that is why they do just that, lol.
