For me it is washing their mouth out, it is for lying, swearing and over the top back talk/sass. I will first wash their mouth out with Ivory soap on a wash cloth, then spank. Yes anytime I have to wash their mouth out I spank.

I will bare them, bring them to the sink as I scold then lather up a washcloth with a bar of Ivory soap that is kept just for this I keep the soap in plastic containers just for this, one in their bathroom one at the kitchen sink, I will then ‘wash’ their mouths out. I bare them first and scold and as I soap, if I get any pulling or looking away there is a bare bottom to swat. Once I have finished I will allow them to spit but not rinse until after the spanking is over as I go get my brush. Then it's on to the rest of the process and I spank.
