I wouldn't call these proper spankings, more like a quickie spanking. I didn't find it awkward you just pull the spankee forward on the bed, take the pj bottoms off, grab the ankles with your non-dominant hand and pull the legs back over the head.

I would then really work over lower bottom and sit spots with hairbrush. I'd go for a short but intense spanking with a threat for more and it got the desired results most of the time.

Like most things I picked this up from my mom as that is what she used to do and I never really thought about it much and I really only used it when people wouldn't get up.

As for humiliation, never had any complaints about that, he was more concerned about the spanking itself.
