I know I begged/bawled when spanked but all I remember is spankings were a blur of shame/pain.
But when I was 19 and stayed with my Aunt for a year I saw and heard my two cousins suffer several spankings.
Trent was 12 and Stacy 13 and both of them were bare bottom spanked by their mom.

As his sister and I watched, the boy began sobbing AhAA AAhhaaAA momAHHno and would continue to sob after she stopped the hand spanking.

When his mom reached for the hairbrush, Trent instantly begged piteously NO MORE! OH MOMMA PULEEEEZE nooo more...sp..span..spanking! NO MORE SPANKING!"
The burning brush made him kick and squeal. His pleading/crying was boyish, but under the brush his high pitched wails sound girlish - EEEAAWeee stoooopppp EEEKEAAWWAA - and his mom had grab his arm to pin him down firmly because he was squirming like a fish and kicking like a mule.
By the end, the boy was a babbling mess and when he did his spanking dance he would wail at the ceiling like a wounded calf - WaWAAwwWAAAA! - suddenly silent to catch his breath, then another AAAHGHAAAA WWAAA HAHHAA until he was out of breath again.
All the while prancing around half-naked grabbing at his beet red buns/thighs.

When I saw Stacy get spanked, her reactions were different but just as dramatic.
