Hi Kelly,

I use a wooden round hairbrush on my three. My youngest Angela is 10 and already have felt the hairbrush so I think for your 11 year old would be appropriate age indeed to start.

I do agree with Amanda here to check after the spanking in a few hours to see how you did it. I did as well when I first used to hairbrush on my kids especially the first few times, but I'm sure you'll do great!
