When our 2 boys were of trick or treating age, and with 2 nephews and 3 nieces we have had our share of Halloween spankings for sure, as Mary said the day and night of and the day/s following because of candy issues. I am also a little more lenient as well on holidays.

One stunt that got Aaron (our oldest) pulled back when he was 13, he went out with a couple friends trick or treating, it was his first time going without me along, I made the big mistake of thinking he was mature enough. They thought it would be fun to start throwing eggs at cars and houses.

Aaron had trouble sitting for the next day or two after I finished with his bottom Halloween night.

They were both spanked when they were young for running off, or throwing a tantrum before leaving the house then having to go out nursing a very sore and red bottom under their costume, they were also spanked for throwing a tantrum when it was time to go home.
