Well, I think everyone has their favorite place or some spank immediately and on the spot wherever. Sometimes when I am very busy I spank them in my home office. Afterwards they run like crazy, howling and bawling to their room, naked and with red sore bottoms.
I usually spank them in their own rooms. I sit on their beds and they go completely naked over my lap or knee. That has a few advantages. It is a very intense and bonding moment between me and the child.
The kids can calm down afterwards and cry it out for as long as they want and need to. They can roll around on their beds, rub their bottoms or whatever they need to do.
If they get a spanking at bedtime, they are already in bed and can calm down and sleep. Another big plus for spanking in their rooms.
