Oh yes! I agree with what you said here and you said this perfectly, "As long as they are trying to think of something clever to say that will make you stop spanking, they have not even begun to learn from it. Even 'spanking babble' is a sign that they are still trying to say something clever, even if their crying too hard to get the words out.

I am sure no spanking mother is satisfied by fake tears, but real tears can be angry or defiant, and that will not do. You must carry on spanking until you reach that magic 'submission point'."
