This is about last year.

I spanked my boy the day before Christmas he was a brat and would not listen, he was soon of his feet and over my lap
he cried and yelled, his unbroken crying song
his spanking was long and methodical that day
so his wild ways he would not repeat
 
Then we had peace on earth, good will to mommy
And I ponder how, as Christmas Eve then came, how sweet and loving my boy became.
