Any one spank their child this year right before/after Christmas or New Years?

My 15-yr old son was spanked the day after Christmas for his attitude. He was upset because he did not get everything he requested. Each year the kids give me a list of what they want. I then pick three items from their list and that is all they get.

I warned to snap out of the attitude, or I would do it for him. He continued to complain so down went his pants and boxers and over my knee. I paddled his bare bottom good and made him stay in his room until he could appreciate what he got.
