Heather,

The main home for my hairbrush is on my vanity in my bedroom. However, the brush is often left in my purse as it always go in there when I go out. Of course for the children in case they can't behave, but I also use it for it's original purpose, as well!

As for my wooden spanking spoon used with the younger children, it is kept in one of the kitchen drawers. Although I do have spares for my spoon, as well. One is kept in an end table drawer in the living room, another in a drawer in the downstairs rec room, one in the driver's side door of the van and a final one in my closet that the kids don't even know about. However, I have rarely use the spares. I think I have only used the spoon in the living room a couple of times and the spoon in our van maybe a handful of times. In fact, when I have to go out with the younger children, I still pack my primary spoon into my purse from the kitchen as it's just force of habit.
