That is true enough in so far as it goes. What I would say though, is that you do apply psychology when spanking your older boys. For example a bare bottom spanking bent over a mother's knee for a teenage boy feels both childish and embarrassing to him. Scot, at nearly 20, received just such a good sound spanking from you - and you bared his bottom yourself before having him bend over Mom's knee. As his mother, you could arguably bend him over a sofa arm, or the back of the chair for his spankings. but you always choose to put the boy over your knee minus his briefs. You could also allow him to keep, at the very least, his underpants up. Psychology is definitely at play here, despite your boys forgetting all embarrassment once the pain of a sound spanking sinks in. None of this is criticism, and I actually applaud you for discipling the boys so, it is merely an observation!
