I always enjoy hearing about you and your children.

Swearing isn't something I really ran into with my girls all that often. It happened on rare occasions with my middle girl where I needed to spank and soap her mouth out, but it wasn't something I ever needed to do with my oldest. And I think only a couple of times with Laura (youngest).

And with my son, it didn't start happening until he got older (mid-teens) where he thought it was 'cool' and would help make him sound more adult. And yes, also sometimes he would get over-excited or mad while playing video games and the swear words would fly out and I would then need to soap and spank. And the same applied with his friends, as well.

It's been the same with Andy and Derek. They didn't start swearing until they got to be older, much for the same reasons as Jason (my son). But as I told Cherie, it's been more of an issue I've had with Derek than Andy. I haven't spanked (or soaped) Andy's and Derek's friends all too often over the years, but it has happened from time to time.

Oh yes, I was very proud of Andy. And honestly, really glad he didn't get involved being the day of his birthday party/sleepover. However, you are right, it only lasts so long before they need another well reddened bottom. His last spanking was a little over 3 weeks ago, so I am sure it will only be a matter of time for him. Hopefully with him turning 18 now, he will make a concerted effort to improve his behavior, but I won't count on it until I see it.
