Amanda,

These days there are more and more single parents bringing up their children. Whether a marriage breakup, or the untimely death of a spouse. Those parents must feel so alone at times and even more so if said parent is a firm believer in the benefits of a good sound spanking for badly behaved children. This forum gives so much support to those Moms (and some Dads too). By and by, non-judgemental, no nastiness, no bullying. A safe place to interact with like-minded parents.

Here in the UK, parental spanking is pretty much a thing of the past. Those that do spank do not discuss it openly, I love the interaction and friendly banter here. All thanks to the lovely Mary, and to the regular posters. You know who you are, and indeed Amanda, you were so supportive for Mary getting this forum up and running again.

Has the forum changed the way I give a discipline spanking? Not really, I stull use hand and slipper. I suspect I give a more through spanking after some gentle reprimands from some here for my 'too soft' approach. All constructive criticism, and well received by me.

My one whinge? Not enough from the UK and Ireland on this forum. Lois, Cordelia, and Shannon are names that appear regularly. Catherine, I recall, was another fan of a good slippering, but nothing from her for ages.

Please excuse me, I need to go and ask the kids if any of them deserve a good sound spanking to help out with Dad's chronic spanking itch. The very least they can do, you would think. Well, I can but ask.......
