Interesting what you say about Donny and Scott and the 'terrible 16s', resulting in them getting their bare bottoms soundly spanked over Mom's knee far more frequently than when they were 15.

Irene heard from our daughter about the youngest getting his bare bottom tanned by Dad with the hairbrush. She obviously recognised its distinctive sound on a bare backside when listening outside the door. My wife's comment to me was ' Does that mean I can thrown away that old moth-eaten tatty slipper now?'. A bit harsh, I thought - has the woman no heart? No way, I told her, plenty of mileage in that slipper yet.
