Thank you so much for your support.

To clarify, the swats I gave were not to AJ and Julian, but to two of the other boys at the birthday party that were roughhousing and almost knocked over a lamp. However, I had hoped with the swats that they would have been a good enough warning to the rest of the boys to behave. Sometimes that is all that is needed.

Immediately after each of their spankings, the boys served their corner time. So after I finished spanking Julian, I stood him in the corner, still bare-bottomed, while he bawled for a short while and eventually quieted down to a sob. I then did the same with AJ, but I needed to stand him against the wall as there wasn't an available corner for him. They each were in the corner for 10 minutes.

When the boys' corner time was over, they definitely wanted to be comforted. Julian did make a point to get dressed, although AJ didn't care and just stayed bare from the waist down. But they both wanted me to hold and comfort them, which I put them back on my lap (sitting this time!), one on each thigh, and comforted them. They just started to bawl again. It was so darling, Amanda. :) I held and rocked them, calming them back down.

I finally got AJ dressed and he went right over to Mommy (Jennifer) and then wanted her comfort, which she did. Unfortunately we couldn't give the boys the comfort we wanted to with a room full of small boys we also needed to keep an eye on. So they were 'our shadows' and you can be assured that both AJ and Julian felt the effects of their spanking for a good while. Wincing and rubbing their bottoms throughout the day and even saying "It huurts still!" sometimes. The spankings were definitely a good reminder for them. Which I feel any proper spanking should be.
