It's always good to hear from you. I hope you and Joseph have been well. :)

Where spankings weren't needed at every birthday party for my children, or now with my grandchildren at young ages, they certainly haven't been rare events between mine or their friends. As you said, it's usually inevitable at least one of them is going to be spanked when you have that many little ones all excited and ramped up, especially on sugar.

I agree with you on the comparison with holidays, as well. And much like with you, Christmas is big one here. I have had to spank on Christmas quite a number of times over the years. Not only with my children, but also with Andy and with my grandchildren a few times, as well. I actually needed to give Andy a spanking during this past Christmas.

But you are so right, just like when you need to spank in any other situation, the spanking administered on their birthday (or a holiday) really benefits them and does them a world of good. As well as for making it more enjoyable for everyone, with them on their best behavior again.
