Mary,

I’m sorry that I am only now responding to you. I was promoted at the hospital to a new nursing position and it has been a lot of work learning my new responsibilities. I see that you, and others, have posted a lot of new messages and I need to contribute the discussions.

I’m glad I can be honest about the complex feelings I get when I spank. Like I said to Shannon, the feelings are an almost-exact replica of the feelings I used to experience as a little girl when Mom, or sometimes Dad, was about to teach me and, or, my sisters a painful bare bottom lesson in behavior and attitude. It’s impossible to forget the god-awful dread, the stomach-knotting anxiety, and the mind-numbing fear that utterly consumed every fiber of my being when I was about to bent bare bottomed over the parental knee, or when I was about to watch or hear one of my sisters get a blistering. Those sensations are forever locked in my body and mind, and now that I am on the other side of the wooden hairbrush, they rush back, but this time in a good way.

I know that some moms like to strip their kids naked before spanking them, and while I had never really thought that I would do that, I thoroughly enjoyed stripping them down to their raw birthday suits and seeing them standing nervously in front of me. All the hairless tidbit on full display. One thing I feel relieved about is that I had really worried that Bailey, Levi and Joey would resist me spanking them. I was worried they would say that I wasn’t their real mother and that I couldn’t spank them, but that hasn’t happened. They accept being punished by me as if I were another mom who had the right and authority to bare and spank them in a resounding manner. I look forward to a long future with the children and keeping their noses clean, so to speak.

One thing I realized after spanking the three kids is that I may actually spank them harder than their father does. I don’t think I spank harder than Diane, their biological mother though. Funny that the two moms would be the ones to elicit higher levels of howling than the dad.

I know that you and most other moms and dads experience the spanking-rush when about to spank, not to mention during the bottom tanning, and afterward when there is nothing left to do watch the howling, red-faced, post-spanking dance. And Bailey, Levi, and Joey all did some high-stepping, bottom-throbbing dances after I spanked them. Their faces were as red as their freshly beaten butts. Most parents or caregivers won’t admit to feeling some excitement when spanking, but I’m pretty sure they do, even if they say they don’t.
