Of the choices presented here the one I have heard the most is 'not on the bare', but the two I've heard most recently are 'not over the knee' (indeed seen as a punishment for a little kid by a little kid who needed to be reminded he was still a little kid) and 'not spank so long' when I learned after the fact my boy was most embarrassed not that his cousins saw him spanked bare bottom, but that they saw him cry from the spanking.

The most common objection by far is being spanked bare bottom specifically in front of opposite sex children. This objection becomes very common around when kids turn 10 years old. However, it is precisely at this age that embarrassment becomes an even more important part of punishment spanking than pain.
