I remember you making that post only last week on looking in at church to make yourself available for babysitting. I am so glad something worked out for you so quickly. And that even the mother (Rose) approached you first in regards to permission for spanking. It always makes it easier that way.

Having a young boy in the house on a consistent basis is an experience you haven't had in quite awhile, but one I know you will enjoy and do a world of good for him. He's very fortunate you will be taking care of him.

I agree with Samantha and Mary, with a boy his age, I am sure your lap will busy. Especially during the summer months. As Mary said, very likely the "Summer of Many Spankings". Very much so for a 10 yr old boy. :)

Has Rose been firm on you staying with the wooden spoon, as well? Or is she ok with you spanking with your hairbrush? At 10 yrs old, he is definitely old enough for a good hairbrush spanking.

There have been times when I have babysat children where their parents have given less at home, like their hand or spoon, but have given approval for me to spank with my hairbrush. Either they are fine with me spanking at my discretion or they agree maybe it's time to make the change.

If she wishes you to keep the same, then that is completely understandable. But do you have a good (solid) spanking spoon that you can use at home?

Also, as Mary had asked, when do you start sitting for him?
