Hey hon, I'll answer your questions the best I can.

My parents particularly Momma spanked fairly often, depending on what I had done or my attitude. Which my attitude seemed to get me in more trouble than anything else. Daddy didn't spank very often. Spankings were the go to punishment at home when I was growing up. Both spanked over the knee, bare butt. Most of the time they spanked by hand, although Momma would get the hairbrush and wear us out on occasion. Daddy did a few times threaten to take a belt to us, but he never did it. It was just a threat. In truth he is a real sweetheart and rarely spanked us. Momma usually handled the discipline since she was a stay at home mom. I didn't just get spanked when I was little, in fact, I got my last spanking when I was eighteen. It was a few days after my birthday and I got into it with Momma over something. I sassed her a bit too much and Daddy objected. He took me into the living room and blistered my bare bottom good. It was particularly embarrassing being spanked bare in front of my Momma, brother and sister as "an adult".

I'm the oldest of three. I have a brother who is about two years younger and my sister is almost five years younger than me. Both of them are also married, My brother has twins and my daughter has one little girl and another on the way. We got spanked in front of each other fairly often since the spankings normally happened in the living room.

My kids aren't all that modest, then again neither am I, and they will run around in their underwear or pajamas which I have no problem with. Although since my daughter is eleven and started developing, we insist she not run around at home without a top.

When it comes to spankings, I'm not super comfortable with discussing details of my children's spankings. It doesn't happen very often, mainly because they're good kids. They mess up sometimes and they get punished for it. After they have been spanked, they are allowed to pull their pants back up. After having a few moments to settle down, there is often some discussion, then we make up, and then the matter is closed.

Normally when they are spanked, it's by hand on the bare butt. I have on a couple of occasions used my hairbrush when I felt a little stronger punishment was needed. But even at that I don't leave marks that last for days after. That ain't happening. When I say I "blister their butts" I don't mean that I actually leave blisters on them. It's just a figure of speech.

I don't take any pleasure in spanking my kids. Sometimes I feel bad after. I don't feel good about hurting them and making them cry. I guess it's no exaggeration to say it hurts me more than it does them. I go out of my way to make sure if I do have to spank them, its because of what they did and not because of how I feel, and making up after is as much for me as it is for them. But I don't rub or pat their bottoms after a spanking. There have been and still are times we play, you know scuffling around and I've given them playful smacks, or pinched their butts, and they get birthday spankings as well. But as far as rubbing at or patting on their bare butts after a spanking, no, I don't do that and I get no enjoyment out of it.

My husband works hard to make sure we have a nice home and that I can stay home to raise the kids. So I've never been one of those "Wait till Daddy gets home" types.
