Yes, I agree, that was certainly the first of many. I thought maybe Jayden would manage to behave in the first week so he wouldn't need a spanking. But maybe he felt too safe or wanted to test you.
His behavior seems similar to my 10 year old Emil who is with me. I foresee that he will probably need a lot of spanking. Good for you.
But spanking is a positive parenting tool. It is the parent's job to teach, guide and help, and sometimes consequences are necessary. A red, sore bottom. Nothing works better.
