It has been a lovely read. Your child went through so many emotions one after another.

I loved reading that you had everything under the control. You were not rushing anything, but carefully positioned your boy over your lap, and kept him in place for as long as you desired.

I remember that when I had been a child, despite embarrassment of being stripped, and pain of the brush, I was really scared of control being taken away from me. It was all mine when I misbeahevd, I did how I wished, and the next moment I was pinned down over my mom's lap unable to move, run away, and all the begging and tears in the world never saved me from the dreadful pain of the brush.

Only now that I am a mom, spanking my children, I can understand how important it is, to prove my child that it is I who is in control and not them.

I hope the boy had learned his lesson.
