I do not have time to regulate them being grounded not as a single working mom and besides they would be such brats over being grounded as it would drive them crazy I would have to eventually spank them. As the others have shared a spanking is now and they have been thoroughly punished and we then go about life. Besides spankings work, and that hard crying does them good.

I understand your older two not wanting to talk about their spankings in front of their mom. My boys got that way around 9 years old.

The only times my boys have 'talked' with me about their spankings is to ask, complain about them, they tell me I spank too hard and long, they ask not to be spanked bare and especially not with my spoon. I have heard them talking amongst themselves in their room about their spankings, and at times heard when they have been spanked together heard them saying to each other "I got it worse than you".

They have though complained just as your boys did when their friends are grounded, I never have punished them any other way but spanking them and before they were old enough to go over my lap and be spanked it was swats on their bottom.
