You did right by your daughter.

That sort of behavior needs to be nipped in the bud. Not just the underage drinking (irresponsibly), but the lying too. Oh my, the lying is, in my opinion, the worst part of it. When trust is broken, it can be very hard to repair. You were absolutely in the right to remind Little Missy that lying and breaking trust are unacceptable and carry heavy consequences.

Seventeen year old teenage girls are absolutely not too old to have their panties dropped for a painful lesson over Dad’s knee. Good for you for being the loving father that you needed to be. It sounds like your hand and hairbrush got through to her, and although her spanking was very painful, she absolutely needed it, badly. Giving a disobedient teenage girl a red-hot bare bottom can work miracles. For a while.
