Yes a short time ago I was a mother who didn't really have spanking on her radar. And now I'm a true believer in frequent and thorough bottom warmings. Nothing drives home a message better than a good hard bare bottom spanking and your daughter was in dire need of a message best served by a parental hand and hairbrush. If I were the one in charge of your daughter it would be quite some time before she could sit comfortably again.

And yes it is a pity that my parents did not raise us with spankings. Not only would it have dramatically improved our behavior and work ethic but also would have made life much easier for our parents. Plus I would have started spanking my own kids years ago and we all would have enjoyed the benefits of it much sooner.

It's also a bit awkward being a never-spanked spanker as I don't really know for sure what it's like to be on the receiving end of these punishments. Even though spankings are self-evidently great for shaping my kids conduct and attitude, I wish I could relate to it a bit better. Regardless I am determined to raise my kids right and I'm not gonna let my less-than-ideal upbringing be an excuse against giving my kids the sound spankings they clearly need.
