Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we are the only moms on this board who did not grow up with spanking. Fortunately we each had someone in our life to guide us towards this much better approach for raising children. You are very blessed to have your mother-in-law in your life to mentor you into being a spanker. I am very grateful towards my neighbor Julie for mentoring me. And now with my sister I am in a position to mentor another mother and I intend to make the most of it.
