Mary,

We are in total agreement about children acting out because subconsciously they want someone to help them rebalance their dysregulated internal turmoil. This applies to both little boys and little girls. Sometime, all that is needed is to talk with the child and help console whatever is bothering them, but sometimes the best remedy is to remove the child’s underpants and put them face-down over the knee. A hard, cathartic cry and a very sore bare bottom is often the perfect medicine for whatever is ailing them.

I appreciate that even though Ryan, Austin and Decker are not your biological boys, you still treat them as though they were. You make the spankings something to remember as opposed to some other reprimand that will go in one ear and out the other. Stripping the boys down to their buck-nakedness for their spankings is somewhat representative of the fact that when you spank, your goal is to get straight to the heart of the matter and that anything getting in the way of your goal will be shed, discarded, removed, or otherwise disposed of. Whether you are removing the veil of lies and deceit to get to the honest truth, or whether you are removing the boys’ underpants so you can soundly and thoroughly spank their bare bottoms, you are a truth seeker in your intentions. It is wonderful that even your formidable paddle-like palm works as a truth serum leading the boys to confession, but even better is the effect your wooden hairbrush has on the boys’ ability to see with clearer eyes (once the tears have stopped blurring their vision). The hard, bare bottom spankings that you bless the boys with, and the accompanying screaming and crying, not to mention the fiery red butts and thighs that throb for the rest of the day, are testimony to your devotion to and love for the boys’ well-being and future mental health.

Those little boys have no idea how immensely lucky they are. The more frequently they have red bottoms, the better, in my humble opinion.
