I agree that kids should benefit from a sore bottom as often as they need it. If Marek regularly earns spankings then you should spank him regularly. If his behavior gets better then he won't need to be spanked as often.

Both of my kids get spanked weekly (sometimes more) and there's never a need to look for reasons to spank as good reasons will inevitably emerge when you're dealing with 8-10 year olds.
