At that ages of Petr and Marek, going over 4 weeks without a spanking can happen, but if you are a parent that still uses spanking, which most of us have with our children at this age, I feel going that long is the rare exception and definitely not something that happens consistently.

My children are grown now, but when they were the age of Petr and Marek, each of them could not go over a month without me needing to spank them, even my girls.

My oldest at 14 yrs old, who probably matured the fastest between her siblings, I was still probably spanking her once a month, and on rare occasion, she earned a second trip in a month over my knee. But after she turned 15, she was able to consistently go more than a month without needing me to spank her.

My middle and youngest daughters were even more often at probably a couple of times a month still. It wasn't until they were 16 or so where they could go more than a month without me needing to spank one of them.

And with my son, he didn't even come close when he was 14. At that age, In fact, I was still spanking him consistently 3-4 times a month at that age. And it wasn't until he was 18 yrs old where he could consistently go more than a month without needing me to put him over my knee.

With Andy and Derek, it's been about the same for them as it was for my son. When they were 14, I spanked them quite regularly, even though they aren't with me 100% of the time. But at 14, I probably spanked Andy a good 3-4 times a month, as well. Even though I have never babysat Derek, he is always over here when Andy visits, so he is like a permanent visitor, which we are glad to have him. But he is also aware of the rules, and consequences, as well.

I probably have spanked Derek a little less often, but not too much less, just because of him not being here as often.

Andy is 18 and Derek just turned 18 recently, and both of them still need to be spanked about once every month to month and a half from me.
