1- It’s not a good old fashioned spanking (GOFS) unless… My process is I take them to their room and we talk about what happened for a couple minutes and then the spanking and then the after-spanking cuddles and talk again. 3- Who spanked longer or harder, mom or dad? My dad was not in my life my mother was a single parent so easy answer to that question! 4- Why no rubbing if you spanked and they cried, and why bother to have to keep track of your no rubbing rule? I don’t have this rule. 5- Why a second spanking at bedtime? We don’t use this in my house. 6- If you allow a babysitter to spank, do you tell them how? I am extremely touchy about discipline for my children and I have never and will never give a sitter spanking permissions. Not to say it’s wrong for others it’s just not what’s best for my family. 7- Do you give traveling spanks down the hall or up the stairs on the way to the main event? I don’t think this has happened. 8- If you are a participant with other moms in a mass spanking, do you discuss how long, how bare, etc. I also don’t think this has happened! Sorry to have such boring answers to your survey haha 9- If you were spanked by your mom, do you do it the same way or did you change things? How? I try to do nearly everything differently from how my mother did it, including discipline. 10- Did you change the way you did it based on advice from your mom or someone who thought you did it wrong? My husband and I have talked and influenced each other quite a bit. I don’t think I’m very receptive to people who aren’t my husband trying to influence my parenting for better or for worse. 11- What made it the worst spanking you gave or received? Hard to say worst I’ve ever given the one that comes to mind as being the worst recently was when one of my daughters called another girl at school a w—. I am soooo against that and I think what made it the worst spanking I’ve given her is how long it lasted/more spanks. 13- Do you ever do/get “progressive” spankings, that is starting over clothes, then bare, or starting with hand them implement? Why? I guess all of my spankings are progressive. We usually start over underwear with my hand, and then sometimes the underwear comes down, and sometimes I use a ruler or spatula.
