So far I'm the only one who keeps their implement in the kitchen.

When my boys were 7 I added a smallish wood kitchen spoon that I purchased from Walmart to my hand spankings. 4 years ago I purchased a very good spanking spoon (well actually its a cooking spoon) from 'Bed bath and Beyond' more a medium size spoon, it is just the right size for spanking with a rubberized red gripping area on the thick handle making for a sure grip.

It's kept in a utensil drawer with other wood spoons but it is only used for spanking, the other wood spoons I have are for cooking, baking and such.
