You said this so well and I agree. As to the embarrassment factor.

I think the embarrassment brings their spankings up a notch or three, embarrassment is a byproduct of being spanked bare not the reason or focus.

As I have said before, there is a difference between shame and embarrassment. The goal should never be to humiliate them.
