Samantha,

Your comment regarding moms talking on the phone about spankings brought me back to childhood. It brought me back to those days of being a little girl who was at a friend's house and my friend's mother was on the phone with my mother and the two of them were discussing how to handle the trouble that us girls had gotten ourselves into. I could only hear what my friend's mom was saying, but it was easy to infer what was being said on the other end of the line. My friend's mom was asking my mother if she, my mother, would like to deal with me herself, or, since my friend's mother was going to be spanking my friend regardless, if she, my friend's mother, should just go ahead and spank me at the same time that she spanks my friend.

Oh how my stomach would turn. The answer became crystal clear when the phone call ended and my friend's mother opened the kitchen drawer, pulled out her wooden spanking spoon, and told both of us little ladies to follow her.
