Good points Megan. Witnessed spankings were common but it's true being spanked in front of certain people (or seeing them spanked) did ramp up the embarrassment.
You have experience getting spanked in front of much younger kids? Or you give those kinds of spankings?

Once when I was 14 I was spanked in front of an 9-yr-old girl and 10-year old boy who weren't even relatives because my mother was babysitting them and I (accidentally) teased them until they cried.
I begged mom not to let them see me get spanked but she said if I thought it was "funny to see kids cry" then I could show them how I cry.
The kids were shocked and amazed to see a "big girl" bared and they sure got to see/hear me cry while they watched her spank me.
