With you on this one, Kelly. How sweet of your youngest son to tell you he is grateful you spank rather than ground them. I can understand his older brothers blushing though, but reluctantly nodding their agreement!

For me, grounding just creates a miserable atmosphere in the house and we all suffer for it. A good rim spanking is is over with relatively quickly, and everyone can move on. Slate clean.

I did pose this very question to my kids a couple of years back, and one of them replied "None of the above!". They would rather be spanked than grounded. Not that it would ever be their call.
